Terms of service

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. You must be at least 13. Accounts are for individual use unless you're on a Team or Enterprise plan with named seats.

Don't break laws. Don't try to break our service. Don't upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes someone else's IP.

Don't use The Color Tools to scrape Pantone, RAL, NCS, or any other third-party color library at scale; we operate under license-conscious approximation in v1, and bulk extraction violates those licensing principles.

You own everything you create — palettes, brand kits, exports. We need a limited license to host and display your content so we can operate the service. We won't use it for training AI models or share it with third parties beyond what you explicitly publish to the community gallery.

v1 Pantone matches are visual approximations, not color-accurate Pantone values. For production-critical work, confirm against an official Pantone swatch book. We are not affiliated with Pantone LLC. Pantone® is a registered trademark of Pantone LLC.

Paid plans renew automatically. You can cancel anytime; the current period runs out and then doesn't renew. We refund within the first 14 days for any reason. Lifetime deals are non-refundable after 14 days.

You can close your account anytime. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. We'll always export your data on request.

The Color Tools is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we don't warrant uninterrupted service or zero bugs. Use the press-ready PDF as a starting point, not as the final color authority — final printed output depends on your printer's calibration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Disputes go to the courts of New Castle County, Delaware.

We may update these terms; material changes get an email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use The Color Tools after changes means you accept them.
